Chalk Paint

We decided to try out one of the many outside activities we have pinned to our Outdoor Activities board on Pinterest.  We've wanted to try the chalk paint for awhile now, but the weather or naps kept winning out on the days we were planning on it.

The recipe was SO simple!
1 cup of cornstarch
1 cup of water
food coloring

We put it in old muffin tins so we could make lots of different colors and bought cheap paint brushes at Walmart because those foam ones would have been eaten by the driveway very quickly.
We painted on paper, rocks, the driveway, our cheeks and legs.  You name it!  They both loved it and we WILL be doing it again.  You have to keep mixing it up or the cornstarch settles to the bottom.  The blue also stained their skin at first, but all the colors came off with just a simple bath. 
Try it out, its fun!!!
